Born in the midst of the Carribean, I grew up with the mentality of a survivor. While music was always echoing in the back of my mind, I knew the only way to assure my survival was through education. So I excelled at school, not because I was smart but it was my only option. Eventually, I started to write poetry to express myself,depict my surroundings and sometimes to conquer a girl's heart. I really had no leisure time, still don't,because when you waste time it wastes you. Other than poetry, I would write stories, read a book or draw. I tried to keep myself busy and out of trouble, yet trouble found me. As far as music goes, Im influenced by different music genres from REGGAE, ROCK N ROLL, HEAVY METAL, CLASSICAL MUSIC, SOUL, and of course RAP, HIP HOP and many more. Currently, Im in pursuing a degree in Psychology, and minor in Art at FAU. I do invest heavily in my rhymes...I would like to think that I am doing it for the love of the art and not for the extrinsic reward. Because once Money is the first priority it's mostly likely we are going to self-destruct. I have had some hard times in my life, like many folks, I have overcome them and ready to move on. And, hm....life goes on. I can't front or brag...because what's in the darkness will eventually come out in the light...and that's real.
