Nowaday SF are: Alex Zonder: voice guitar & programming, Sifneos: voice and synths, D. Xell: drummer and percussionist, and ThirdEye: atmosfears and amby-entes. The idea behind SF is to write music derived from electro and industrial with a rock impact and some experimentations of IDM-break beat-trip hop, leading to a blurred crossover genre which mixes different moods and tastes. We were influenced by the electro scene coming from Depeche mode, Mesh, De..Vision, Iris, In strict confidence, from the industrial music of the more recent Frontline assembly, Skinny puppy, Necro Facility, and the trip hop music of Massive attack and Portishead… During live performances, the filmic-theatrical aspect is more accentuated (here you can find something in some instrumental parts, but it is more explicit in other songs not reported here). So far SF have released different demos like Timelessness in 2003, Frames in 2004, and Convulse my heart in 2005, but, the first official demo cd is Endomorph (14 tracks, here you can listen to some of them). A new EP "Caresse" is now in preparation with new unreleased songs, remixes and alternative versions.___________________________________________________ ______________ _______________________________INDIVIDUAL BIBLIOGRAPHIES______________________________________________ ________ _______________________________ ALEX ZONDER: Voice, Guitar & Programming___________________________The acid soul of Shear Faith was previously guitarist of Neftys Lodge (avant-garde electro black metal act of Taranto & Padova, together with Bluepain, Leinad, Veth, Sephirot, Blakblod & Matteo), and of Veins (romantic rock act of Padova, together with Alessio & Matteo). Then he has soon turned into the industrial and electro scene with a solo project called Zoon with wich released some demos (also under the name Blueshift) and then turned into the higher level project named Shear Faith, in which all his artistic and scientific interests converged into a mix of electro-industrial rock music. He is also involved in the realization of soundtracks for the short films of Matteo Tibiletti, and sporadic soundtracks for art and scientific exhibitions.________________________________________________ ________________ ________________________________SIFNEOS: Voice & Synths _________________________________________The romantic soul of Shear Faith has long wandered along different artistic dimensions ranging from paintings to poetry. She constantly collaborated with Alex Zonder in the realization of different artistic and musical projects. The most delicate and sensitive parts of SF is expressed through her ghostly but passionate voice calling to your deepest dark nature. ____________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________ _____ _________________________________THIRD EYE: Atmos-fears and Amby-Entes____________________________The paranoid and claustrophobic cleft-part-soul of Shear Faith lives in a claustrum trying to assimulate the shit of our world through a catabolic process of sick forms of art of which vomit, blood and semen are the true expressions of his creation.
