I was raised in a family of Musicians...From my Great Grandparents, to my beautiful mother, I have always been around music.It wasn't until I was 5 years old when my talent was dicovered, singing an old Whitney Houston rendition of " The Greatest Love of All" that a family member noticed my talent and requested that I sing at all family get togethers!From that point I entered a talent show in 1989 at the tender age of 11 called Search For The Stars in which I won 2nd place and they sent my video to Star Search.. A talent scout by the name of Monte Thomas contacted me and requested that I audition for the show.Me my mother and stepdad hightailed it to the additions in Dallas,Tx. I was neverous as any 11yr old might be..I returned home to find a message on the machine requesting that I appear on the upcoming 9th season of Star Search.I flew to Hollywood, Ca and competed winning 4.00 stars each time, which is the highest possible score. On my 4th performance on the show I competed and won against a well know super star Christina Aguilera!I went on and competed 3 additional times, and also won each time. At the end which was the finals I was awarded Best Junior Vocalist Champion Of 1990..and given $20,000 as a grand prize!Under the management of Donna Ross-Jones of Transition Music Corp. and also Eddy Muphy's manager. After Star Search I moved to California under the direction of Ray Parker Jr. as an Executive Producer on my Artists develpment deal. I also worked with well known heavy weight Producer Damon Thomas/of the (The Underdogs), Jesse Powell and others. I also appeared on several episodes of the Barney Show!During that same time I was invited to take my first trip over seas (Italy)and represent the United States in a World Wide Talent Competition.From 1991 through 1996, I Lived back and forth between California and Oklahoma until I was 18, and then moved to New York with Waveform7 and the Flava Unit.In 2001 I went on my first Gospel Tour called "I Know If Been Changed" written by (Tyler Perry) singing backgrounds for 3 time grammy winner (Anne Nesby) of the Sounds Of Blackness, as well as Gospel singer LaShawn Pace.In 2004 I appeared on Vh-1 Christina Aguilera (Driven), E Entertainment, Babara Walters 20/20 Christina Aguilera "All Grown Up" and MTV's Christina Aguilera's New Sensations.I am currently on tour with the hit Gospel show "Save Me From My Secrets" singing backgrounds again for the soulful songtress (Anne Nesby) and (Jamecia Bennett).I was given my first casio keyboard at the age of 12. I used to sit in my room for days if not weeks listening to the radio and playing other songs I heard. Eventually I taught myself to play by EAR inwhich you'll hear my first song I EVER wrote..Entitled Believe "Dont Cry"...Music has always been my passion, my dreams my inspiration, and God my strentgh.
