Kendall Meyer was born and raised in rural Iowa and has always had a deep love for music. In 1993, the loss of a dear friend provided the emotional foundation which prompted Kendall to devote his life to music.
Kendall's career began as a self employed DJ hosting local events while playing guitar and singing in local bands and competing in Karaoke competitions (Coast to Coast Karaoke district winner and runner up in final competition). Now a full time musician, Kendall has spent recent years displaying and honing his skills as a performer by relentlessly touring throughout the country from tiny small town bars to huge outdoor fairs and festivals.
Meyer has opened for the likes of Mark Wills, Highway 101, Brad Paisley, Lonestar, Great Divide, Rhett Atkins, Daryl Singletary, Wade Hayes, Jessica Andrews, Emerson Drive, Trick Pony, Andy Griggs, Kentucky Headhunters, Chris Ledoux, Charlie Daniels Band, Doug Stone, Blue County, Brett Michaels, Billy Currington, and Sammy Kershaw.
A child of rock and country radio, Kendall says his biggest influences and inspirations are artists such as Steve Earl, Keith Whitley, George Strait, John Michael Montgomery, John Cougar Mellencamp, and Michael W. Smith.
Apart from being an avid outdoors man, when he's not on the road, Kendall prefers to spend time with his close family and friends but values most the time he reserves for his beautiful daughter.
