IN 2001 Dj was nominated for best R&B performance by City Beat Magazine for his song "Little Gem". He has rocked crowds at multiple locations in New York city, including Nells, the "Hear Us Out Show" with Aquila Wilkerson, the Soul Cafe' and more.
In 2006 Dj performed on the Mix CD "Trife Life" with his brothers S.K.F. in the song "To Tag". Famed recording artist,Orange Juice Jones was also a featured artist on the CD which was produced by Triflin Records.
