Chuting Star Rigging Loft is owned and operated by Mike Gruwell. Chuting Star provides parachute rigging services and gear sales to skydivers, pilots, manufacturers and skydiving schools throughout the world. We have recently added our online store: The Gear Shop . We also provide first-jump AFF and tandem instruction as well as advanced skydiving training through our affiliation with Skydive The Farm in Rockmart, GA.
When not skydiving, I spend as much time as possible with my wife and soulmate Stephanie. We have two energetic and beautiful twin boys (Nate and Jamie). We love traveling and spending time with friends and family. I also have a very loud and talkative Greenwing Macaw, Lucy Lou, who loves to cuddle.
I grew up in Seattle...and would love to move back some day. I was a part of the northwest music scene in the late '80s and early '90s. Played drums for bands such as D.F.L., Rhymes With Orange, Stone Dresden, Mushmouth, Black Moses and 420 Love. Ah...miss those days.
