According to Kartel, "The album is street telekinesis; the thoughts of thugs and is the stone to Goliath!" Illegal Kartel was born in Pasadena, CA on March 11th 1982. He moved to Fresno, Ca. when he was two years old. and he's been there every since. Illegal spent most of His childhood days on the west side of Fresno. He got introduced to hip-hop in 1987, when he was a young boy and he knew that one day he would be apart of it. In 1995, Illegal became seriously interested in hip hop and started working towards becoming a successful artist. Seven years later Illegal put out his first Ep.(Born Wit A Platinum Tongue). Under the stage name "Kollab" Once he saw the feed back and response of the Ep in other states, as well as in his own city-streets of Fresno Ca. He really started to believe that his music was his calling. After "Born Wit A Platinum Tongue" Illegal produced two other prodjects, ("Dunn Dolla Presents: Bold Printing the Map" Lp, & "Spoken into Exsistance" Lp) and won many rap contests in the central valley. wich lead Illegal to become the opening act for many artists such as "Sean Paul of The Youngbloods", "JT the Bigga Figga", and "The Outlawz". Unfortunately, Illegal was incarsarated and was sentenced to 36 months in Prison. While waiting to be released from prison Illegal wrote over 400 songs. Since his release from prison (but still trapped in the system) Illegal has released mixtape ("The Black Tape Mixtape" Ft. group and portege's "Dos Muchos") and a Lp ("Thug-lumaic"). He's also in process of completing two Lp's "The Home Field Advantage" wich was produced by Miles Davis, whom he met at "The Source Unsignded Hype" Reagional Artist Show Case. Who's also know for his work on BET's "BEEF The Series" and guest producer "Qp On Da Beats" (From the group Dos Muchos). The second Lp Is "Gauponopoly: The Street Album" produced by "Mister E" of Lompoc CA. Both scheduled to be released mid 2009. Since 2007 Illegal has profromed in cities such as. Seattle, Washinton, Hollywood California, and has headlined numerous show in his home town Fresno California. His new Hit single "What it do" has landed him spins in clubs Such as "LAX" Hollywood, Ca., "Club Nacional" Hollywood Ca, "Cabo Wabo" Fresno Ca, "The Smoke House" Fresno Ca, "Roe" Fresno Ca, "Club 2039" Fresno Ca, and many more clubs in the Fresno and surrounding areas. He has also landed spins on radio stations such as B95 Fresno Ca, 93.5 The Beat Los Angeles Ca. and hosted the internet radio station 1.0 Da Lick. With so much more to accomplish!!!!
