About Emma... On the 15th of April, in 1990, a girl named Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson was born. Her parent’s were two lawyers, Jacqueline and Chris Watson. During Emma’s first years of living, they resided in Paris, France, but moved to Oxford shire when she was 5 years old. While they were in France, Jacqueline and Chris had a son, Emma’s little brother, Alex, who is 3 years younger than her. Around this time they decided to get a divorce (in summer of 1995) and Emma and Alex ended up living with their mother. Emma showed interest in acting very early. When her grandmother once asked her what she would like to be when she grew up, she answered ”I want to be a fairy, a princess, a queen or a ‘mattress’” (actress). What neither Emma’s parents or Emma herself knew was that one of her dreams would come true. A few years later, Emma and some of her fellow drama students were held back after drama class. The teacher told them that there were going to be auditions for the upcoming Harry Potter movie, and asked if they would like to audition. Emma went with a couple of classmates to the audition, just for some fun, she didn’t expect anything at all. But Emma was one of the few people who were called in for a second audition. After several auditions, they kept calling her back for more and it got more serious every time.... you know the rest =]
