I'm just your average small town girl. Been married to my high school boyfriend Rick for 12 years now, wow time goes fast! We have two wonderful kids, Kylie is 10 and Brenden is 6. They are the most precious things in my life. My life has had it's crazy ups and downs, especially the last 3 years. I lost my mom in Dec. of 2006 to ovarian cancer, she was only 51, she battled with breast and ovarian cancer for 4 years. She was the strongest person I know, she would have chemo on Thursday and go back to work driving her semi truck on Mon.! I miss her more than anything! I woke up on New Years day this year with chicken pox, who gets chicken pox at 30! Only me! Spent a week in the hospital with Brenden who had a bad infection behind his eye, it was awful! And now my sister who is only 35 just found out she has inflammatory breast cancer, which is a rare but aggressive type. Sometimes it makes me wonder why all this bad stuff happens to us because we are good people. So needless to say I will be glad to see this year over with!
