I've been playing since I was 12. In 1989 I joined a band in my high school (DEJA VU) we played covers by Metallica,Ratt,Iron Maiden, Warrant(yes I know ,but the girls liked it) Tesla. That lasted till about 91 or so and everyone went their different ways. In 93 I joined a local dance band (HERITAGE) with a couple friends from high school. We play for weddings,graduations,bars,casinos.....etc. We still play quite a bit and have played for over 250 bookings in that time and have eaten every kind of green and red enchilada(spanish dish) possible. But it came to an end in FEB 2007. Enter the 2000's.....I now play BASS in HERITAGE (its something new)....... In 01 a work buddy and I formed a metal cover band(RIBBED)we played covers by Judas Priest,Metallica,White Zombie,Manson,Godsmack.....etc(other hard stuff)(a far cry from my Ratt and Warrant cover days)Now we write our songs...and have released two cds.... We also started a local show called RIBBEDFEST which at first was a venue for local talents to air their music and later changed to METAL show which brings metal acts from other areas. But the show still has local acts as well. The show is only possible with local businesses and their donations , and the show is always free.....now in 06 RIBBEDFEST hit its 5th year and we hope to make another five.
