My name is "Sya" aka Jade S. BaileyI believe a true artist is one who cannot sleep, eat or live without their passion. Since the age of 5 I knew I was destined for something creative. I could write simple songs for my Mom and Father and perform for them by dancing and singing. I've been writing since I could pick up a pencil and I've been writing ever since: childrens' books, poetry, screenplays and of course lyrics. I loved to perform and from the age of 5 to 18 years old I partcipated in theatre hence another passion in my life "acting". When I was a teen I had my stint in Modeling as well it was a lot of work and I liked the excitement and traveling but you can only do so much with it so instead I took the lens in my own hands to create photos that represented much more meaning in the World than what I saw in life.When I graduated from highschool I embarked upon music and singing and suddenly discovered I could write and sing music. I would spend nights and many nights in the studio for the love of "creating" something that was my own. I was raised in Colorado and when I turned 23 I decided to move to Los Angeles. Much to the horror of my Parents I just picked up and left one day in the Spring and drove non-stop to pursue my dreams. I was lucky in the sense that I left at the right time and was able to find a place within two weeks in Santa Monica. I've been here a year and half now.I must say that there is such an overwhemingly number of talented people in
Southern California and it was discouraging to me. I even thought of trying to get into another profession but as much as I tried I could not and will not leave my roots: music is my greatest passion next to writing. So here I am accept me as I am; the time for me is coming.
