Hans mantel

When Hans was still a lad he already played with his toy guitar. After a few years he received a real guitar and attended lessons. He became quite an accomplished guitarist. When he was asked to join a young jazz band he picked up the banjo. He also sat in at a very young age with bands like Phil Mason’s New Orleans All Stars , and Sammy Rimington’s band. He joined the hot revival Stompers on the banjo late 2002. Hans was not new to the Stompers since he already sat in on different occasions. Hans’ current idol is Emanuel Sayles who also plays both banjo and guitar as well. Hans also listens to charlie christian. Hans is a great New Orleans Revival lover and his rhythmic playing is one of the driving forces in the band.
