Jungle Records is owned and operated by Sha'Linda Jeanine and based in Charlotte, NC. We chose Charlotte to be our home because of the surplus of talented individuals in the region. We also believe that the Queen City is the proper community to offer substantial support for a movement in urban music. Our mission is to provide the world with quality entertainment, and in the process we hope to open doors for others in the Charlotte community as well. We are currently in the process of launching our first artist SoSa (pronounced So-Say). SoSa has the sound of a southern d-boy hitting listeners with catchy hooks and bling-riddled verses that will soon appear in clubs, cars and iPods everywhere. Complimenting his charisma in the booth is Q, his longtime producer who himself is well on his way to becoming the next big beatmaker in hip hop. Jungle is currently servicing record pools and radio reps with SoSas first single, My Chain which will appear on his full-length solo debut due in stores in the early second quarter. Also on the album you can expect industry artists such as R&B crooner Trey Songs and Memphis hustler Yo Gotti. In addition to SoSa, Jungle Records has K. Walker and Charlottes own Mac & Thai on the roster. Listeners will quickly find that not only do these artists sound different from SoSa, but they sound different from each other as well. A big part of the Jungle approach is to put out artists who already have their own identity and arent trying to mimic someone elses hustle. With that being said, we are preparing a variety of releases that are sure to bring a lot of attention to the Queen City in 2007. The Charlotte-based Mac & Thai are seasoned veterans of the game who are poised to step out on platform and invite the world to take a glimpse into the NC State of Mind. Staying busy with performances and mixtape appearances, you can expect a full length LP from Mac & Thai later this year.With a roster full of talent and an active business model, you can expect to hear a lot from Jungle Records in 2007.
