Howdy! I'm Collin.
Born 'n bred in Arlington, Texas, I'm a teacher's assistant at an elementary school, where I work with children who have severe and profound disabilities. It's a tough job at times, but while my kiddos always keep me on my toes, I still love 'em to death, and they always make me smile! Because of that, I am currently back in school at TCC SE, working towards finally getting my degree and becoming a real teacher.
When it comes to the things I enjoy in life, there's a lot of things that I dig that make me out to be quite the geek. I'm a big dork when it comes to watching most any movie, and I'm up for watching almost anything that my friends want to show me. I'm also quite the grown-up kid when it comes to toys. I love LEGO in general, and I enjoy dabbling a tiny bit in collecting Transformers and a couple other things. But that doesn't happen very often, especially if I have a reason in my life that supersedes such material possessions.
I've played the cello for nearly 15 years now, and am a lover of many different kinds of music. But you'll usually find me listening to stuff along the lines of classic rock, southern rock, and outlaw country. That's the stuff that I'm really into right now, and it's very much like comfort food for me.
Overall, I just like to have fun! I love hanging out with my good friends, watching movies, goofing around at a park, going out to eat, staying in and watching TV with good company stuff like that. Nothing fancy. I'm not one for clubbing or bar-hopping or anything like that. But that's just the way I am, more power to those who enjoy those sorta things. Way I see it, everyone has their own definition of fun. The stuff I like to do sounds so simple when I type it out, and it is in a way. But that's the only way I can have fun, really. Having to worry about planning and timing and making sure we have to do this thing at this time in this place is not necessarily my cup of tea! Just kick back and have a good ol' time!
