Hey There! We're In High Cotton, Y'all! I'm Linda. I'm Barrie. And, together, we're fun folks and entrepreneurs, who are all about "Stepping Out, Living Large and Loving Life, Naturally!"
'In high cotton' is a Southern term expressing the best of times and meaning that all is going very well. This is true for us and we trust that you too are smooth stepping across the dance floors of your life.
We love expressing life with zeal and enthusiasm. Our work gives us the means to live an In High Cotton lifestyle and allows us to serve others with excellence and in integrity with our values. We're looking to connect and network with like minded folks who are willing to express themselves in what they do and have fun living with gusto.
Linda is a native of Long Island, who has become an adopted daughter of the South. As one of our favorite party bands, Confederate Railroad, sings ... "she ain't a Dixie dumpling, but let me tell you something, she's got every quality -- she likes Elvis, she likes Andy --- so she's fine and dandy with me"! Linda has the charm, grace and good manners of a GRIT (Girls Raised in the South). She is fun and funny!
Barrie, a native of Richmond, Virgina, is frequently described as a 'Dixie Darlin'". He loves all things Southern. He is fascinated with everything from the Gullah culture of the Carolina Low Country to the roots of country music in the hills and hollows of Southwestern Virgina. He loves cornbread, collards and bar-b-que, eastern North Carolina style! He is a character!
We love the South ... her people, her cultures, her easy ways, her good manners, her music, her food and her sense of time and place. Musically, Jake Owen says it all in our video when he sings "You Can Thank Dixie". We do. And if you do, too, we'd love to hear from you.

My Interests
