The Triads concept was born in 1988 at 274 Linthorpe Road in Middlesbrough.
The store rapidly gained a reputation for quirky, cutting edge fashion offering a fresh alternative to an increasingly demanding public.
The decision was then made to re-locate the company to larger, more central premises at 54-56 Albert Road, Middlesbrough.
The new store featured collections from Stone Island, Vivienne Westwood, Paul Smith and Stussy amongst others.
This flagship store remains open today, offering a more lifestyle-influenced fusion of contemporary, directional clothing.
Collections showcased include Stone Island, Maharishi, MHI, iDiom, The North Face, adidas originals, Nike QuickStrike, Analog, Stussy, Obey, Levis Vintage, PAM, Evisu, Paul Smith, Victorinox, Surrender, MoWax Arts, Lee Jeans, Fake London, Puma, Hummel, Fila Vintage, Visvim, Sergio Tacchini, Addict, Trainerspotter, 2K, Gravis, New Balance, Penguin, Converse, Answer and more...
In 2002, Triads unveiled plans for an ambitious, multi-million pound development on Linthorpe Road, which would see the opening of a brand new, state of the art store which would house the luxury mainline collections with the ladies wear being located on the first floor.
The project was completed in the summer 2003 season and features collections from Prada Sport, Y3, Fred Perry, Hugo Boss, Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen and YMC.
