Elastic sound was founded in 2006 by Moscow’s deep house producer Alex Smolyaninov.
Nominally being a one man project Elastic Sound often collaborates with other musicians to create freshest sensual deep-house with loungy touches.
He has cooperated with many eminent deep house producers in the world, e.g. Da Funk, The Disclosure project, Dave Storm, Karol XVII & MB Valence, Latenta project, Fabien Kamb, BarBQ and others.
His recordings has appeared in such labels as: Deepology Digital, Aquamarine, Deep Class Records, Cabrio Records, In Deep Records, Support house.
Elastic sound's Aquamarine with Deepology show has airtime on Proton Radio (USA), Pure FM (USA), Raunchy Rhythms Radio (England) and more stations.

Aquamarine Digital fires off it's second release - the debute album from Elastic Sound, the label's A&R and one of the main men of Deepology Digital Family. The album is built from 9 originals and a remix by Fabien Kamb. It's all about straight deep/tech sound fused with softer and melodic rhythms which represent Elastic Sound's trademark.
As the artist speaks himself: Each tune is born under the influence of trippin' to different European and Asian countries for the last couple of years. This is a mixture of the Silence of the Mongolian vast lands and the blasting tempo of big european megapolises.

It's a great pleasure to announce birth of a proud child of the Deepology Digital family - Aquamarine Digital label.
A bit of concept here: the label is focused on delivering original and quality deep house music which has no distinct stylistic boundaries. Like aquamarine that changes its shades when exposed to sunlight, like millions of fishes and other species inhabiting the ocean depths of planet Earth. The label is managed by Elastic Sound, one of the main artist of the Deepology Digital label.
We're celebrating the launch of the new label with Aquamarine Sampler vol1, beautiful deep-house compilation, unmixed of course, featuring exclusive originals from Herb LF, Sendos Fuera, Pete Gust, Mastercris, Da Funk, K-bana and other producers.
After the massive ‘technoesque’ attack that Low Flow Records performed by putting out its autumn releases, it’s time to hold a breath and take a dive into a more dreamy realm of deep house music.
The sixth release on Low Flow is represented by Alex Smolyaninov a.k.a. Elastic Sound - a very talented and fertile producer from Moscow, known for his trademark sound and soulful approach to the contemporary deep house music.
Elastic Sound has previously been released on such imprints as Deepology Digital, In Deep Records, DeepClass as well as already appeared on the Low Flow roster in a role of a remixer.
This time Elastic Sound brings us two wonderful tunes within “Moon Travel” EP: “Alone”, which is highlighted by its trademark jumpy percussion, funky bassline and soulful samples and “Moon Travel” – a posh and beautiful track that won’t leave indifferent anyone of the quality deep house fans out there. On the remixes we are pleased to introduce Kyka (Clubstar, Cabrio), who colors “Alone” with his bright synthetic sequences and Ocean Gaya (Plastic City, Tronic Soundz), whose re-rub of “Moon Travel” evokes a shivering emotional whirlpool by its warm ambience and melancholic sound fusion. Elastic Sound – “Moon Travel” EP is definitely a must-have recording both for professional DJs and musicians as well as for all the music lovers and the quality deep electronic collectors.
Deep in the City is a new series of compilations from the Moscow’s Deepology Digital label. Through these series we attempt to discover the character depths of the principal locations of the Earth – the cities which live and pulse in their own unique ways.
