Diva became fond of music at age seven, and from there on, knew that she wanted to become a contributor , an inventor of the Arts.Inspired by the likes of Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye,Bob Marley,Beres Hammond and many others of influential charisma and artistry, fueled Diva even more to pursue her dreams.Constantly reinforced by her parents that education is important,she graduated from Merl grove High with Seven of Eight Subjects , jointly with A'levels under her belt..Currently she is Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration at the prestigious University Of Technology (Utech).She has work along side Leftside & Esco,Mafia Mckoy and Shady Of Shady Records,recording and writing her her own lyrics...In early 2003 Diva was booked for her first big performance by Solid Rock Promotions, where she performed along with artiste's such as Beenie Man,
King Yellow Man,Ken Boothe, Tanya Stephens and many more artiste that were book for the show"Meet Me At The Party" at Ironshore, Montego Bay.She gave an intriguing performance.Men and women were enthralled by her songs that after exiting stage, artiste and many others greeted her with appreciation.
Of course this was not her first time performing, her experience of performances dates back from high school concerts and Barbeque's to Kingston's hot spot the Asylum, where she met in a heated musical debate/clash with one of Jamaica's talented comedians/actor Fancy Cat, which she won ........The Village again where she put down an intriguing performance and captured the attention of a free lance writer who wrote on her performance.One of her most memorable performance was in 2003 at Appleton Hot shots, where many music industry personnel's complimented her and good reviews were shown on Hype TV and RETVBack in 2002, after the death of her father, diva decided linked up with fellow friend' Leftside and Esco, where they formed the group Da Clique, along with
and Camar(Flava Unit)."Flossing" their smash single, which they received heavy airplay by zip's dis jocks and sounds such as Coppershot, Renaissance and the immortal Stone love,remained a favorite. Her First release "I'm A woman" on the cupid Rhythm,Produced By Leftside and Esco was made part of the library list for Local womans Wednesday on Zip Fm. "Touch You " featuring Brick and Lace on the Spanish Guitar Rhythm and also "Yardie Swing" all received good rotation.Diva is a multi talented artist,who dos believe in originality of the arts and creativity of the mind and the spirit.
