Influences: As a Drummer, Herzel recently toured/recorded with Klaus Doldinger, Paul Kuhn, Marc Florian Friedrich, Steve Bigman Clayton, Axel Zwingenberger, The Oirginal Contemporaries, M. Kosmahl, Astrid Hauke, Bluestour, Abi Wallenstein, Georg Schroeter, Marc Breitfelder, Saimaa(FIN), Rocky Knauer (Bassman of Chet Baker, Helge Schneider), Anke Angel(NL), Eeco Rijken Rapp (NL), Peter Schmidt(East Blues Experience) and others.Herzel is always making researches and studying different techniques and drummers. He used books like “Buddy Rich, Gene Krupa and Joe Morello†to learn the rudiments and general techniques.
As an educator, Herzel has been carrying out many workshops in Germany and abroad.
