Currently, gnarls barkley, hard-fi, and kasabian are often in my cd player. Other favs; artefact, bob marley, delirium, hungry lucy, incubus, jason mraz, massive attack, radiohead, scearintol/3kstatic, sublime, system of a down... too many others to list. Any music with raw emotion and/or good beats. preferrably combined.
Movies:
gotta love the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Oh, to be a half elf. Other favs include The Boondock Saints, A Time to Kill, The Band of Brothers series (thank a local war veteran today!), American History X, Do the Right Thing, Stigmata, and my old old fav, Ace Ventura (Pet Detective)
Television:
television is evil. I try not to watch it, but have failed miserably since I moved to MN. (6 months of frozen HELL) I seem to be always watching some sort of HBO series; Band of Brothers, OZ, 6 Feet Under, Deadwood, Arrested Development.... Back in the day I was a big X-Files fan. You know, because the truth is out there, and I wanted to find it too. Moulder, you led me astray.
Books:
Currently reading Catch-22... Yossarian is a weird motherfucker. Some good ones off the top of my head; 1984(g. orwell), brave new world(a. huxley), slaughter house five (k. vonnegut) when the music's over; my journey into schizophrenia (very interesting). Thanks to an exboyfriend, I've read almost all of the 'forgotten realms' dark elf series(r.a. slavatore). Go Drizzt.
