Sharp Shore

Sharp Shore.
Ambient and rhythmic 12 string guitars swirl around an undercurrent of cello that is accented by the siren call of solo flute and mesmerizing percussion. Leaving little doubt as to it's intentions, the project was born with it's desire to bring a unique sound to acoustic circles. "I never thought the music would get to this level - get this good," comments composer Eric Blades. Working on producing fellow Illegible Records artist Chara Love, he bookmarked the idea of exploring his own acoustic interests for a special project. From experimenting with melodies and long passages that combined approaches to multi-instrumentation and resourcefulness, the music began to take shape. The name was easy: a comment on Eric's last name and a reference to the name given to the house he lives at - The Island. The rest is history as Sharp Shore celebrates it's already successful year with "Desolation" a follow up album to it's debut recording, "Reclamation".
