About Me
My name is Tim and I live in Boston, MA. But I'm certainly not your typical Bostonian or even American guy. I guess I might not qualify as a real Bostonian/American anyways. My family is originally from Germany, but I was born in Boston and have lived in the area all my life, except for a few brief periods I lived in Germany. I have done a lot of traveling in the past, and plan on doing more soon. I don't have an American-centric perspective on things, and not even Euro-centric/Western-centric for that matter.I like to work out, play guitar, watch the Boston sports, read, think, listen to music, go out on weekends, etc... Music and working out are probably my two biggest passions. I work out religiously, and I also like to play guitar a lot, though I wish I was better at it (I don't have time to play as much as I would like). I actually played guitar in a local band. The band didn't sound anything like the bands I listen to, but I still liked the music and above all enjoyed writing and performing the songs. And speaking of bands, I am looking for yet another band to play in. So if you're in a band (or looking to start one) with a harder edge, and need a guitarist, hit me up!I also enjoy reading (particularly non-fiction) and acquiring more knowledge about subjects that interest me. Wikipedia is one of my favorite sites. You can learn anything you want without making a trip to the library. Compared to the average guy, I watch very little TV. The only TV I watch with any kind of regularity is my Boston teams (particularly the Sox and Pats). But unlike many guys, my interests range far beyond just sports. Guys who are only interested in sports and nothing else are one dimensional and boring. There are way too many guys out there who don't do anything besides watch sports and drink beer, and I'm glad I'm not one of them. I'm not your typical American guy, and I suppose I'm proud of it.Feel free to add me, but I do appreciate it if you take the time to look at my profile before messaging me or adding me. Oh, and if you are advertising a make-money-online site or a porn/webcam site, don't bother with me, as you will not gain my patronage. Thank you. I don't do internet scams and I don't watch porn. That was not an outburst, but I thought I'd throw that in to deter some of the pests, in light of the influx of spammers. Attention bands: please don't add me if you are a cookiecutter "she said" alt/rock band. You know what I mean. I'm not into that at all. I'm a musician myself, and appreciate unique bands, or at least bands that have the guts to play something other than what all the mainstream fans are looking for these days.I am a web analyst at the only trademark company in New England, and I am happy with my job there. A trademark is simply the name of a product, service, or company. And obviously two similar products/services/companies can't have similar names. That can cause legal problems. I like what I do, and am planning to stay in the field and with my company. If I sounded angry and agitated some of the time, I was just trying to make a point. We all have our pet peeves.
