And So Dedicated. As a youth Kali was raised in the urban city we know as, "EASTSIDE LONG BEACH". Before Y-Kali's mother devorced his father, he was known as a all american athlete. Football and Basket-ball kept him safe from the violence in the hood. His mother " Bonnie Cooper " never a single parent on her own was forced to move to the ghetto working two jobs on a minimum wage pay cut. She supported Kali. She loved him and did everything that she possibly could. After 1 year in this neighborhood Y-Kali was moving cush by the age 13. He stresses the fact he had to reup every other day. Being a young black man in the white world only lead him to grow streets smarts and survival in the mindstate of poverty. Never before has he encounterd the police during his time of smugglin.
While attending Long Beach Poly High School he formed a street group called " F * L * I * R * T * S " For this very reason everyone in the city knows Y-Kali. But thats if your known of accourse. This group of fresh dress school boys cracked all the lil chikks in the hood. These girls started to support them. They would fundraze for concerts and shows. The Flirts would also call in for meetings. These meeting consist of making money and promoting musik.
But Before high school was over, Y- kali was sent to move with his older brother in Chicago. Kali became a hot headed and short tempered do to the fact that his mother was struggling and his father was appcent. Kali began to take his anger out on his peers. Graduating with a 2.0 he couldnt get into a University if wanted to. So currently Kali is in cumunity college for Phycology.
Y-Kali became a D-boy the very first time he got his apt. Y kali was lade off from his job do to the economy crashing and the block was all he had left.
As soon as he moved bakk from San diego were Kali risided on his money making venture. He ran into the president of " Hillside hustla ent " Dyno. Y- Kali's best friend C Nasty introduced them.
