I hail from St. Joseph, MO and have been playing bass off and on for over 20 years. I've been in and out of various bands along the way but only a couple have really clicked and made it onto a stage. It's a little more difficult for me to find like minded musicians because I am more into playing original music than doing the same old cover band crap. Most musicians around these parts have the attitude that you can't make any money playing originals and you have to be in a cover band. I've never really cared about the money and I'm willing to play for beer and pretzels if it means being up on a stage. I would rather be paid nothing for playing original music than getting $$$$ for playing in another cheesy classic rock cover band.
I have a wonderful wife and a beautiful 5 year old daughter. They are my pride and joy and I couldn't ask for a more loving wife or a better little girl.
My other interests include model railroading, computers, audio and video editing, pro wrestling and investigating the paranormal. I briefly ran a paranormal group here in St. Joe but that fell to the wayside when I joined my current band. I'm also in the middle of building a model train layout that should have been finished months ago. Just to keep my life well rounded and the bills paid, I also work full time for a local manufacturing plant as an inventory coordinator.
