LeahMichele has a desire for singing and writing music with the hope that she may lead others to Christ or help a fellow Christian along on their spiritual journey. She is currently working on her next project due to be released in 2010. This will be LeahMichele’s second independently released project.
In 2005, LeahMichele graduated from Mid-America Christian University with a bachelor’s degree in Music Performance. She received various awards each year ranging from music performance, voice, and piano keyboard. During her college journey, she was a part of a women’s quartet called “Living Lightâ€. She traveled with the group to various states and performed concert’s to help promote MACU’s music program. Along with singing and performing, from 2003-08 LeahMichele was the worship leader at Capitol Hill Church of God in Oklahoma City, which is where she grew up singing for the Lord. From there, God led her and her husband to Eagle Heights Church in Oklahoma City, where she has been active in the choir and worship team.
LeahMichele has been married to her husband Stephen since May 17, 2003. They have a 1 1/2 year old daughter named Caitlyn. She is also expecting her second child in February 2010.
In the coming year, LeahMichele’s plans are to keep learning and developing her skills as a Christian artist and songwriter. No matter where the Lord leads her, LeahMichele will always be singing for Him.
