About Me

Formed in 1998 Tartan Army has become Windsor's premier Celtic-Rock band. Having released three CD's in that time all have become classics in the Southwestern Ontario indie music scene. The self-titled Tartan Army in 1999 was the fastest selling indie CD that year in the Windsor Market. The follow-up Grasp the Thistle in 2001 was met with an equally enthusiastic repsonse from celtic music fans in Windsor and Detroit. A third CD - The Guiness Song - EP was released in 2002. Plans for upcoming releases are in the works... stay tuned!
