okay time to be serious for a while.... I still find each day too short for all the thoughts I want to think, all the walks I want to take, all the books I want to read, and all the friends I want to see. Any idiot can face a crisis - it's day to day living that wears you out. Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment. Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could; some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; you shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense. Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life; define yourself. It is not length of life, but depth of life.
