MARIA MORE'S SAMPLE DIET PLAN
FOOD GROUPS:
#1 Lean protein sources
Bake, broil, grill, or boil instead of frying 4 to 6 ounce serving
--turkey breast
--chicken breast
--eggs/w half yolks
--egg substitute
--fish (flounder, perch, grouper, tuna, salmon)
--lean red meat (sirloin, flank steak)
# 2 Starchy Carbohydrates
--potato (white or sweet, 2 small or 1 medium)
--rice (1/2 to 1 cup, measured before cooking)
--corn ( 1 to 2 cups or 1 cob)
--beans (kidney or pinto 1 to 2 cups)
--oatmeal ( 1/2 to 1 cup measured before cooking)
--grits w/Smart Balance butter]
--whole wheat bread (2 slices)
--grain cereal ( 1 serving w/skim milk)
--pasta ( 1 to 2 cup measured before cooking)
# 3 Fibrous Carbohydrates]
*Serving sizes for these are specified in packaging

*Meals should be spaced as evenly as possible throughout the day

***Consume 1280 calories per day. This breaks down to 320 calories per
meal, based on 4 meals, 2 of which are shakes.
Meal 1- Select from groups 1 & 2
Meal 2- Designer Whey Protein Shake
Meal 3- Designer Whey Protein Shake (w/small snack from group 2 if
necessary)
Meal 4- Select from groups 1 & 3
Designer Whey Protein Shake Recipe:
1 scoop of Designer Whey Protein Strawberry or Vanilla
3 frozen strawberries
6 oz. of water
2 oz. of raw oatmeal
1 teaspoon no salt added peanut butter reduced fat peterpan
1 dash of cinnamon
* 2 small pks. of splenda
add crushed ice w/ all ingredients into blender and mix well ... Great
tasting shake...!!!
