Tumult

Tumult is a unique band with a very personal style created by a team of talented young Danish musicians with different musical backgrounds. They aim at playing "hip Danish folk music with a modern sound" and have done so ever since they threw themselves onto the Danish music scene in 1999. The band has released two critically acclaimed and widely popular albums with mostly self-composed traditional songs and tunes – and all with Tumult’s very own "hip" and modern twist. The band’s music and enthusiasm have so far opened doors in Denmark, Scandinavia, Northern Europe and Russia, and with their new album to be released in 2007 they hope to reach a still broader audience.
