Baby BEEF independent art press is an artist collective created by Sarah Bracken and Andrea Byrne, for the purpose of collaborating with local and international artists. We create limited edition hand-made, hand-bound and crafted publications, featuring work from young, upcoming as well as more established artists, poets and writers. We See Baby BEEF more as individual pieces of art rather than mass produced publications.
For our last three issues we have showcased the work of this artists at art and publishing events in Dublin, Belfast and London. Our fourth issue “Nostalgia†is currently under construction, this theme is open for the interpretation of the artists. It will also only feature work that is made using out-dated/obsolete techniques or equipment in its construction.
Baby BEEF also publishes other hand-made zines. New zines available will be posted on our page and photographs of the zines will be in our pictures.

Baby BEEF magazine ACCEPTS SUBMISSIONS of anything creative: drawings, stories, poetry, photography, articles about anything, doodles, paintings, prints, revolutions, thoughts, ideas, graffiti, rants, reccommendations, reviews, anything musical, (but not musicals, i hate them so much scribbles, film stills, movie scripts/screenplays, theories, protests, letters, dreams, letters to god, letters to satan, quotes, lyrics and anything pro-motherearth.
Until now Baby BEEF was available for free. But from Issue 3 onwards, we will be selling the zine online, in shops/cafes around Dublin city and at events. The price of the zine will cover the costs of paper and better quality printing. Without worrying about arranging fundraisers, we will have more time to work on the content of the zine. We will also be able to add a few extras, like cd's and stickers with each issue!! And a percentage of the price of each zine will be donated to conserve and plant trees.

We are ANTI-ADS! So there are no boring crappy, space filling ads in the zine at all!

We sell the zines at gigs, poetry readings, zine symposiums, independent publishing fairs, cafes and other such events that we like to go to. We are also currently working on getting a regular market stall up and running in Dublin.
