I was born and raised on the Westside of Chicago. Music became an outlet for me at an early age. My partner Dominique Bell and I founded an independent music company in 2004, called LexRecs. We set out with the goal of changing the music industry, by providing conscience thoughts and vibes. I mostly rap about real life issues, because I’ve been through real life situations since I was a child. For example, the death of my parents and brothers (RIP) were some huge loses I had to face. I try not to curse because it gets in the way of what's really important, which is real lyrics. I consider myself a student of music, and I'm constantly learning how to improve my craft.
