There comes a time when you read your profile on things like this and wonder what on earth made you write what you did!! (For those interested I left my original one right at the bottom!!)Well I have come to that stage at last, and thought maybe I should write a few more 'in depth' things about myself. To be honest it was someone at work who suggested I join Myspace. I didn’t know if I would have the time, or energy, to project my life to the World Wide Web in this way, and I hesitated. In fact when I started to look around I found myself captivated by all the information out there. I have always been a curious person....in fact I suppose you could call me down right nosy? Not in a nasty way, you understand, but in the way of hungering for information. I absolutely love talking to people, but again, not in a gossiping way, I promise. I love to find out about people's lives and what they do and what they are interested in and how they feel. I love to discuss life and the universe and all that's in it!! One friend told me I am like a child.... you know....they constantly ask questions, but it's because they are learning all the time. Well that's how I feel. Maybe sometimes I can be too inquisitive but tell me something...how else am I going to find out about anything if I don’t ask?? I do confess to becoming totally absorbed with something (like tracing my ancestors at the moment) to the extent I shut out most other things around me, but I also confess to getting bored easily. I am probably like that in most aspects of my life, and maybe it's something I should work at to change, I don’t know? Once I feel I have got the most out of something I tend to move on or change what I am doing. Saying that I am a coward where my work life is concerned....lazy in fact. I stick to my job and don’t have the courage to move. It's the safe aspect of my life! (Even if I am not content with it). Where my friends are concerned it is a different matter. I care deeply about the people around me...in fact I care deeply about many things... but friends are important. It is probably the only area apart from my family, where I don’t get bored and move on. That isn’t to say I haven’t lost touch with people in my life but that's through circumstances not necessarily choice. Life is so busy that, even with the internet and mobile phones, we often lose sight of people without realizing. So that brings me to why I am here! This is a way you can 'meet' people without actually meeting them, if you understand? It's a way of communication thoughts and passions and even just 'life’ itself, that is available to everyone.............and it's free lol.
