I'm generally friendly and easy-going and will happily natter away for hours about a variety of things that interest me. I love spending time with my family and friends, hugs, smiling, laughing, jokes, dancing like a loon at parties, and maybe meeting new people too. Music is a big part of my life, whether it's live at a gig, at a party, in a club, at the hockey, in a car or my CD collection at home. I'm also perfectly content with my own company (which is good cause I spend a lot of time during the day at home by myself at the moment)
I love to keep my brain active with online puzzles and games and I'm very interested in learning lots of new things - from songs on my keyboard to Astrophysics. In 1999, I decided to try some part-time Open University courses in Science and Maths. After that I just kept going and 7 years later I finally got my BSc in Physical Science (December 2005). Since then I've spent some time and energy looking for something to do with my life... but I've realised that I'm not quite ready to work full time and haven't yet found anything suitable part time either. I'm trying not to worry about it too much for the time being and just appreciate the time that I have to spend with my family for now :)
I live in deepest darkest suburbia with my lovely hubby Rob (who is also my best friend) and our two kids - a daughter (13 but going on 30) and son (9 and full of energy). We also share our house with three mad crazy cats - Cerebus, Jack and Meg. Between them all, sometimes they very nearly drive me nuts but of course I do love them all to bits regardless...
