Aquafeel is Vladislav Koumpatidis. Borned in the cold Siberia at the year of 1989 and raised up in Greece since 1991. He started going to parties in 2004 and this was also the moment of his first contact with psytrance. On March 2006 he decided to do some experiments with this kind of music. After that, he spent some time on learning the possibilities of a sequencer and got helped from some ppl in order to get to the right point , without any other music knowledge. He started working more seriously at the beggining of 2007 under the project aquafeel on a morning,melodic progressive style. His blend of sounds has generated an interesting style full of groove and tricky details, all making it up for a fun journey into his musical universe.
In july 2008 the first EP named "Trust ep" was released by Spintwist records and attracted many people's interest.During his "still" short carreer he counts already a live act at the Indian Spirit Festival in Germany during fall 2008.The feedback from the crowd was indeed very nice, something that he didn't expect.2009 has already come and some upcoming fresh tunes will be released soon on respected labels. So.... stay tuned!!!!! The first kick of aquafeel's debut album will be heard after the year 2010, as in February 2009 he has to leave to army.
Next to his project, Aquafeel has formed with his friend Koinis Anastasios "Normalize" a side project named aqualize
. Their sound is rich, melodic and creative, and generates a positive vibe in both home listening and for sure on the dancefloors. Top notch production ensures a very high quality product. They have already some fresh tunes that wait to be released during this year!
