My husband, when he actually gets consecutive days off. I miss that little guy.
Death Cab for Cutie, The Bravery, The Killers, Franz Ferdinand, The Mars Volta, The Flaming Lips, Cake, Travis, The Faint, Modest Mouse, Depeche Mode (True Love), Neil Young, Beck, Keane, Radiohead, Jimmy Eat World, Muse, Elliot Smith, the Shins, The Postal Service, The Gorillaz, Bright Eyes, Aberfeldy, Interpole, The Strokes, The Decemberists, etc. I also like Beethoven, Rockmoninov, Tchaikovksy, and Opera.
I cannot stay awake during any movie these days...but I have been known to like Goodfellas, CASINO, Coffee and Cigarettes, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, 21 grams, Shaolin Soccer, Azumanga-Daioh, His and Her Circumstances, So I married an Axe Murderer, Major Payne, Grease, Spongebob, Totoro. Most recently Vertigo & One flew over the cukoos nest.
Three's Company, TLC, A&E, travel shows, wonder pets, the backyardigans, and spongebob (What?)
I have not picked up a book in a long time(you know familial obligations permit only the bare minimum of "me-time" reserved mostly for hygenical purposes like showering and brushing of teeth) but have been known to truly be in love with Dostoyevsky(my soul-mate), Baudelaire, Goethe, Moliere, Akhmatova, Nietzche, Dante, Thoreau, Spurgeon. I love deeply contemplative, introspective, descriptive literature...some would say I like literature that if you read it too much, might make you go insane...its at times like that I pick up an Austen book or watch a 100 hours of TV to cleanse my mind...I'm totally kidding by the way. I just like good books, I'm sort of a snob about anything new...most of the true geniuses are dead. I know, I'm a dork...oh well.
Anyone who pursues knowledge...And Joe because he makes marshmallows.
