About Me

In 1969 I, Rick Shipley was born in Baltimore, Maryland. I lived most of my life there and I thought I would die there. I slaved in the retail field for many years while trying to get my movie carreer off the ground. I lent a hand on a bunch of movies including John Waters' Cry Baby, Nobudget Productions-Scary Tales, Harvesters, Hunting Humans, Oceans 13, China Dolls and more. After working on other people's movies I decided it was time to head up my own productions, so I wrote, shot, acted and directed my rockabilly action movie named Dangerous Mode. Due to crooked partners and low funds, the movie was never widely distributed. I am re-editing the movie and will re-release it in the near future. My wife and I decided that we needed a change so we made up our minds to move out out dead-end Maryland and relocate to the adult playground of the world, Las Vegas, Nevada. I spent 5 years in Vegas but now I hang my hat in Denver. Armed with my own rig and a few scripts, I'm planning to make a mint and have fun doing it.

I'd like to meet anyone and everyone. I've found that everyone has something they can help out with or offer. Also like myself, I'm sure there are people out there that aren't doing what they want to do, they are just waiting to meet the right people that can help make all of their dreams come true.
