The Loved Ones

About Me

Some people prefer plain old vanilla and are quite happy to take refuge in the safety of the recognizable and the comfort of the linear. So what if you're not just a good old vanilla lovin' kinda person?
Something missing from culture that resonates with your take on things? The Loved Ones don't claim to be the panacea but they might have something to catch your imagination.
They're a ragged group of musicians with an eccentric, mismatched background and for all intents and purposes, they shouldn't hang together so well. However they do so in such a way that it's undeniable that you are listening to something special and unforgettable.
Their music, just like their disparate credentials covers a spectrum of styles whilst maintaining a unique identity and they will take you on a journey as seen from their own peculiar view.
They've peopled a universe with paranoiacs, fallen missionaries and Stepford victims to name but a few. Forget about all conventional terms of engagement: you are about to enter the world of The Loved Ones! The band would concede that their music swings wildly between the sublime and the inconceivable but they keenly point out that it's never 'off the peg' and defiantly snub the rules in favour of their chosen path.
