My children first and foremost :) Spending time with them is so very rewarding!!! Watching them talk more and more each day, watch them play and have fun times together, and just all around being around them is awesome :) I have veered away from the party life for the most part these days, I still like to go out every now and then, but not hardly as much as I used to do a year ago or so. On occasion, I'll go out and shoot pool, go out to a club or party, go out to the movies, spend a day outdoors etc. Just normal daily living for me these days. I want to look into: learning new languages, learning about Astronomy, appreciating the history behind Colorado, my ancestry *White Mountain Apache* hoping one day to meet others with my similar blood line who are closer to our history than I am. Praying one day I will be able to learn my native language :)
Whoever is into the same things as me. I'm not sure if it is possible to meet other females like myself... but hey, its worth a shot. Anyone who likes to enjoy life for what it is.... someone who doesn't read into stupid shit, someone who doesn't like to cause unneeded drama. Anyone who enjoys going out to a park, walk through Garden of the Gods, take a stroll through Manitou Springs and learn possibly about some of the history. Anyone who is fun.... anyone who likes to let loose and just be. Anyone who would like to do kid stuff.... have a water balloon fight on some nice summer day.... go to Eliches and play around.... play some tag football.... wrestle around for the fun of it :). Although I like doing all the kid sort of stuff, there is also a serious side to me. A side of responsibility, maturity, and just all around, acting my age. There is a time to play, but more so, a time to be the responsible mother I know I am. I know that is a lot to ask, but I am sure there are other's out there like me :)
Depends on my mood..... anything from my Tiesto, PVD, Benny Benassi, Ferry Corsten, RITM, Miss Pandora, Deep Dish and many many other DJ's :) to System of a Down, to my old Westside Connection & Bizzy Bone, to Cranberries & Sarah MchLachlan. From a little bit of Korn to some Bach and Beethoven. Anything pretty much... I appreciate all types of music. Doesn't mean I particularly like them, but I most definitly appreciate it.
The Day After Tomorrow ~ awesome movie. The Italian Job *drooooooool* @ Charlize Theron, Shawshank Redemption, always one of my favorites. The Rock, The Crow ~ All 3 Sequels, GumBall Race, Hero, Prime, uhm..... Aladdin, Lion King, Pocahontas, Shrek *both of them*..... all sorts of movies, except horror's.... Unless I have someone to cuddle up next to and squeeze their circulation off to their arm ;) hee hee
I don't really watch too much T.V. anymore, but when I used to; anything about forensics...crime shows...history... a bit of comedy... and of course Playhouse Disney for the kiddo's
I have quite a few I am reading right now.... Many are more or less uplifting and motivating... something I definitly need right now :) One of my all time favorites is *The Hot Zone by Richard Preston* True story about macaque monkeys carrying the Ebola virus and spreading it to the human race. Very good book!!! Can't wait to read the sequels once I get a bit of time :)
My parents. They are my Heroes and Idols. They have always been there for me no matter what I have done.... Beyond that, they have the most amazing marriage! They truely are a match made in heaven, best friends.
Couples who are able to go through the most difficult trials within marriage, and still remain husband and wife.
Anyone who has so much on their shoulders they are about ready to give up hope... but they try, they strive, they succeed. Ones who don't let life get them down.
Single parents. I now know what it is like to be a single parent... one of the hardest *but most rewarding* jobs in the world!
