Life, Love, Nature, Art, Music, (all the same aren't they?) ...computers, old things with unknown histories... such as old buildings and sentimental photos from times past. Whee!
Someone honest and interesting... high standards, I know. ;) Someone to talk to would be enough. :)It would really make my day if I could find folks with which to share mutual, unconditional, and meaningful appreciation. You know... a no-bullshit sorta thing.
I love music itself... I make no judgements on a genre, only the talent. I tend not to gravitate towards country or gangster rap too much though... although I've been known to listen to both. I love Queens of the Stoneage, Sublime, Stopsign Asshole, Mossy Jaw, Johnny Cash, The Misfits, Peter Gabriel, Enya, Deep Forest, NoFX, Bob Marley, PM5k, The Beatles... I'll save space by saying "etc...."
The City of Lost Children, Metropolis (1927), Amalie, Lock-Stock, Snatch, Boondock Saints, Donnie Darko, The Transporter, Mean Machine, Kill Bill, Pulp Fiction, Pi, Clockwork Orange, Jacob's Ladder, Army of Darkness, Little Nemo, and a bunch of dorky anime stuff like Metropolis (2001). But the true film involes few of that... just ask Professor Magden.
The History Channel, Discovery, TLC... you know - the channels that TEACH instead of SELL. The occasional adult swim is a joy, too.
The Cheating Culture, Choosing White Collar Crime, Corporate and Governmental Deviance, Confessions of an Economic Hit Man, The Support Economy... (Damn right, I'm COMIN' for you BITCHES in D.C.!)
Douglass Rushkoff, Howard Zinn, Dr. Fagelson, Lewis Carroll (Charles Dodgeson), Mark Twain (Samuel Clemens), Tim Burton, Brad Hutchinson, Marvin Tadlock, my Aunt Hope, my Uncle Lee, my mother, and my father.
