"Pirania is an omnivore, but when hungry, stressed or seeking for life food it is very aggressive. Its rarely available as an aquarium fish, but it is not generally bred in captivity. Any other fish sharing a tank with a pirania should be of the same or a similar species. Other types of fish will be attacked and eaten."
