About Me

In Greek mythology Erebus (??,,ß?? Erebos, "Deep blackness/darkness or shadow " from Ancient Greek ??,,ß??) was the son of a primordial God, Chaos, the personification of darkness and shadow, which filled in all the corners and crannies of the world. He was the offspring of Chaos alone. He was brother of Nyx and father with her of Aether and Hemera, according to Hesiod (c. 700 BC). According to Hyginus (c. AD 1), he was the father of Geras.According to some later legends, Erebus was part of Hades, the underworld. It was where the dead had to pass immediately after dying. After Charon ferried them across the river Acheron, they entered Tartarus, the underworld proper. Erebus was often used as a synonym for Hades, the Greek god of the underworld. The word is probably from Proto-Indo-European language, *h1regwos, cognate to Old Norse r,,kkr, Gothic riqis "darkness", Sanskrit rajani "night", Tocharian orkäm "darkness". Another suggestion is a loan from Semitic, c.f. Hebrew erebh and Akkadian erebu "sunset, evening" (hence, "darkness"). The same etymology of "sunset" has been suggested for Europe. made with the Cosmoedit Myspace Editor

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

ark gray clouds rolled, thrashing to each other with their anger, sending bolts of fire down to Earth. The winds roared through the recumbent limbs of a willow tree, that danced with each other caressing their every limb. The bark on the tree with inset lines that jet out in junctures in every which way, all the way down to the very roots that clung to life within the worm infested soil. A large dark hole between the soil and the tree trunk hidden by the limp limbs on the willow tree. A pair of green catlike eyes peered out of the engulfing darkness. Rain started to fall onto the green blades of grass, drumming to its own beat. The green eyes moved out of the dark hole and a large body shifted from side to side, then peered through the limbs of the willow tree, looking for anyone that may be around. Then moving out of the tree like pulling open a curtain, revealing a pale skinny man. His straight midnight black hair falling to his shoulders. Softly sunken in eyes, outlined with black eyeliner smudged, somewhat dripping down his face. High cheekbones and soft tender lips, pierced with snake bites. A large spiked chain chocker was held tight upon his thin pale neck, that had two small chains leading down to his shirt, that had a tight fit and no sleeves. Black leather with chains intertwining with each other so rapidly you can't figure out which is which. Black Tripp pants with black straps held loosely on his waist, covering his legs, leading down to his boots that were over accompanied by zippers. He moved slowly around listening intently for anyone who may be watching. The muscles in his arms rippled intensely, his right arm had a tattoo etched on it, a pentagram, the symbol for wiccan. Making his way out of the small park and into the city, boots clomping loudly on the cobblestone sidewalk. The rain had let up and now a slight fog had rolled in. He made his way to a large black fence, vines had possessed the fence from lack of maintenance. 'as always it never will get cleaned up, but I love it that way' he thought as he climbed up the fence clinging onto the vines and pulling up. Just in the midst of his climbing he heard a soft sweet humming. He stopped to listen, the voice was clear and sweet as honey. The type of voice that can make you melt and feel completely warm inside. 'No one has been in this graveyard for years!' he thought to himself, and then pulled himself all the way over the fence, landing with a scuffle from the dry dirt. Tombstones of various shapes and sizes laid on the ground in front of him, overpowered in vines as well. He crouched and followed the humming, hiding behind each tombstone along his way. A large tombstone about the size of a bed laid in the moonlight, and there the sweet voiced maiden lay on the tombstone on her stomach. A black rose in her hand, plucking the peddles as if saying he loves me he loves me not. She caressed her soft pale delicate face with the rose peddles still remaining on the stem. Soft Grey eyes outlined with a gentle white and lips a light blood red. A very thin fragile body her soul lay in, beautiful black hair streaming down to her waist. A corset of black lace held in her breasts as well as connected her ankle length skirt black lace as well, both articles of clothing in the pattern of spider webs. A rush of warmth leaked into his body as he saw his destiny, love at first sight? No doubt. The maiden hummed yet still, though she could have sworn she heard something lurking in the shadows. He lingered there staring in awe of her beauty, no sure what to do, but never wanting the moment to end. He slowly pulled himself out of the shadows which he lingered. The maiden slowly looked up eyes connecting. "I was wondering when you would show up" she said in a very tender loving voice. A knowing filled him, "My soul had brought me here" he said."I know, mine as well, we've known each other before, isn't love amazing?" she said smiling. They stared at each other for what seemed like hours, eyes connected each boring into one another's soul. "I am Peirce" he said as he took her hand and kissed it. "I am Isis, nice too meet you again" she said and smiled. Peirce sat down next to Isis both feeling overwhelmed to be reconnected yet from another life. Pierce laid down on Isis's lap "I love you, Mona" Peirce said remembering Isis past name, "I love you too, Viper" she as well remembered his past name. "What has it been now?" He asked. "A hundred years since our souls found each other again" Isis replied. "I feel whole again" "me too" There they both held each other as the moon and stars watched them, and the fog slowly rolling in.
