DJ Ran is one of the hottest mobile/club DJs to ever come out of New Jersey. He is a creative, passionate, and soulful young man whose music illustrates these qualities. DJ Ran’s versatile style allows him to play various genres of music, with an undeniable talent for mixing, blending, and scratching today’s hottest songs without even skipping a beat!! DJ Ran grew up in Irvington, NJ. His father was born in Puerto Rico and his mother, from Queens, New York, taught DJ Ran “ Nothing Beats A Failure But A Try.” This motto is the backbone to DJ Ran’s successful future. He began putting on headphones and planted himself behind turntables at the age of 10. Since then, he has steadily gained intense exposure by ripping down parties and pressing up blazing hot mixed CDs. His exceptional talents have blossomed into tight skills; placing him on the brink of being a major member in the entertainment industry.DJ Ran is known for Dj-ing at most of the hottest college parties and night clubs throughout New Jersey. He has performed with premier DJs such as Mr. Cee, Big Kap, Cocoa Chanelle, Green Lantern, Camillo, Lazy K, and the legendary Chuck Chillout, just to name a few.Recently, DJ Ran signed a deal to become the company DJ for the hip-hop clothing chain “Against All Odds.” This retail clothing chain has over 60 stores in ten states; New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland, Virginia, Florida, Arizona, and California. Each weekend, DJ Ran travels to a different “ Against All Odds” location and DJs live in the stores as a promotional strategy for the company. DJ Ran also serves as a member of “Against All Odds” Corporate Marketing Department, when he’s not Djing in the stores. As a member of the marketing team, he assists in the planning of various events and promotional strategies to ensure customer awareness of this hip-hop clothing empire. DJ Ran is also known for creating “Against All Odds” promotional mixed CDs which are distributed to over 30,000 customers per season.Recently, the company has had autograph in-store signings with celebrities such as Top Model Jaslene Gonzales, Mike Jones, Jadakiss, Nina Sky, Juelz Santana, Russel Simmons, Dame Dash, Styles P, Jibbs, Steph Lova of Power 105.1, and BET’s own Big Tigger just to name a few. DJ Ran has appeared on B.E.T’s Rap City three times already and was the co-host for a New Jersey based tv show called ‘Where Ya At Music Video Show”. This show was broadcasted throughout NJ and is seen in over 600000 households. Dj Ran has also djed at major concerts such as the Sugar Water Festival in Philly with Queen Latifah, Jill Scott, Floetry, and Erika Badu as headliners and also Q102 fm’s JingleBall Concert with Alicia Keys and Chingy as headliners. He is also the official events DJ for Southpole & Lot 29 clothing brands. DJ Ran is also a model and spokesman for InternationalBodies.com clothing brand and was featured as dj of the month on ustyles.com website. He was also featured in Hip-Hop Weekly Magazine as Azzure’ Denim’s DJ of the month.
