Cy Nelson Jr. (Music Maker on a Mission )Cy Nelson Jr. began his musical career early playing clubs in and around Atlantic City, NJ. He played bass and was one of many voices heard on "Music Minus One Tapes" and "You Sing The Hits". He went on to write and record his own music and became a frequent player in the casino lounges. He also founded and recorded with a band called The Natural Source, (DRS Records) who used to play at the world famous Club Harlem and The Wonder Gardens, as an opening act for many well-known artists. Cy's influences include Marcus Miller, Maurice White,(Earth, Wind & Fire), and Stevie Wonder. In 1998, he started an indie record label (CyRUS Records) and released a few projects including "This Journey" and "Hold On". On these and all of his musical projects, with the exception of a few guest musicians, Cy plays all of the instruments and sings all of the lead and background vocals.
