I grew up in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, then spent half my life in the Newmarket, Ontario area. I now split my time in Nashville, Tennessee and Schomberg, Ontario, Canada.
I have several recording projects to my credit, including "Fool In The Rain", "Songs Your Mother Never Sang", and the NEW CD called " Something's Got A Hold On Me".
All of my recordings for the last few years have been done in Nashville, TN, for Wild Oats Records. Produced by the amazing Steve Haggard. I have had airplay in several countries and have performed at various venues in North America as well as the 1st Annual Belfast Nashville Songwriters Festival 2005 in Belfast, Northern Ireland, U.K, and have just returned from a very successful series of gigs in Caen, France (Normandy) at Le Foire Internationale 2006. More later.... Yes!
Since September I have had the opportunity to open for one of the songwritting legends Mr. Eric Andersen, at Hugh's Room, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada What a night!....... So! I should tell you all that it has been a very busy and productive year.
My latest cd " Something's Got A Hold On Me" has been released on the Wild Oats Records lable and several cuts from this cd are being played a great deal in New Zealand and Australia as well as here in North America. I will be performing once again at the upcoming Tin Pan North event in Toronto with some very fine singer songwriters from both Toronto and Nashville. I will also be performing at Le Foire Internationale De Caen, in you quessed it Caen, France ( Normandy ) Sept. 14th - 24th. So if you happen to be at one of the biggest fairs in France please look for myself and my good friend Steve Haggard at the Nashville booth.
I am now a member of Musicians For Peace. This is of course a very important cause to be involved in. Please visit their site here on myspace to see how we as musicians and songwriters, etc. can be of help. Much more later, GJ............
So! where was I? Oh! yeah! I have recently returned from Le Foire Du Caen, where I had the honour of meeting and performing with Nina Crayon and the wonderful Les Homme A Tout Faire not to mention performing at the huge sports day and the photo ops with Madame Mayor Brigitte Le Brethon.Being in French news papers and on French TV. was also very cool. Le Foire or The Fair was once again, fabulous. To represent Nashville Sister Cities is an honour and always fun! Now being back in Nashville, I am back in the studio prepairing to start yet another recording project with Steve Haggard and Wild Oats Records. Looking forward to a short tour of Normandy and Ireland in Feb / 08. much more later....
