Ok, I've been around for a while but its fair to say that of all the people I've jammed with over the years, I'm one of the few left that still has the burn for music. I've been in several bands - 3 versions of Return Ticket all with Peter Williams, Amazon, China White (original Adelaide version), Ken Noath Ockerstra , Bay Lunchcutters Trio, The Lunchcutters feat. Diane Dixon (first Adelaide version), Yeah Yeah feat. Wendy Taylor (original Adelaide version) and Chant.
I get a mention in the books "The Who's Who of Australian Rock 2nd ed" and "It's Our Music". I've recorded several times and been on a few that were actually released (1 charted in Adelaide ), and I've been in a few video clips (see my pictures for a snap of one).
I’ve now got a spot on a Poco Tribute compilation CD “Down to the Wire†with a whole bunch of other international musos doing a cover version of Poco’s most popular song (in the U.S. ) “Crazy Loveâ€. You can get it from http://www.futuredge.com
So what do I do musically now? I think a lot about being in a band again but like I say in one of my songs “time is the fire in which we all burnâ€. I still go through phases of recording (in my home "studio") and then doing not much at all. After so many record company offers in the past I figure its time to put my work out for free!!!! No apologies for the quality either - I've never had the time for polishing up. I wouldn't mind an artist choosing one to record though.
Please contact me if you'd like to cover one .
