Dig

About Me

Dig is a pen name for a one man band. He plays guitar and sings. In his youger days he was a drummer in a three piece rock band in the Irish Midlands. This was not an easy life. There are only two types of music down in them thar Midlands: Country and Western! Influences as a drummer were Keith Moon, Keith Moon and Keith Moon. Oh and John Bonham and Animal from the Muppet Show. Since the demise of his band many moons ago Dig has not been doing much in the music business apart from getting into dance music in the mid nineties. Not as a muso but as one of the 24 hour Party People. Does anyone remember the Temple of Sound? Those days are gone now and it's back to the guitar and pen. Having gotten a sound card with free Cubasis he got into doing a bit of home recording.Hope you like what you hear.Gear Used:Cubasis VST Creative Edition, ART Tube V3 Microphone Preamp, Behringer B2 Pro Condenser Mic, Shure SM57 Dynamic Mic, Behringer T1952 Compressor/Expander, Zoom G1 Guitar Amp Modeller, Zoom B2 Bass Amp Modeller, Behringer V-Amp 2, Various freeware VST effects (Spitfish, Classis Reverb, Classic Chorus etc.), Gibson Les Paul Standard, Ovation Celebrity Acoustic, Aria Bass, Evolution Midi Controller Keyboard, LM9 Drum Module, Alesis DM5 Pro Drum Kit, Toontrack EZ Drummer Software.
