If you're a band, a rapper, or a DJ or whatever just adding me for the sake of upping your numbers, I'm not likely to accept. If you do actually want to add me as a 'friend' and not just a number, or if there's a specific reason why you want me to listen to your music, please send a message with your friend request.
Hello I'm John. For those who don't know me, I'm a sound engineer. I work with music and film - in studios, in bedrooms, in garages, at gigs, at festivals, wherever, as long as there's a sound for me to record, fix, mix or enhance I'm happy. Music is my passion, I'm at home when I'm with music. I'm from Glasgow, Scotland, but now live in Dumfries & Galloway (most of the time) despite having worked and travelled across America. When I feel inspired and have free time I sometimes make my own music, hopefully eventually I'll upload some of it here. I've also got my own business and some recording gear, that's what the Sound Travels thing is all about. If you wanna know more feel free to get in touch and I can let you hear what I've done, maybe I can work on your music sometime. You can also check out my 'Top Friends' who are all people I've worked with.
For those who do know me...yep I've finally got a MySpace page. Why? Well so many of you have got one I thought it'd be a good way to get in touch with and stay in touch with friends both past and present (and hopefully future) I'm especially looking forward to hearing from my old buddies in the States, you know I'd love to be back there with you. So if you know me as John Scotsman, John the sound guy or just John, gimme a shout.
I edited my profile with Thomas’ Myspace Editor V3.6 !
