About Me

i don't know what the hell is going on...
it's a situation i am beginning to become accustomed to.
i suppose our suppositions about our influence, even within our own spheres, are far greater than they actually may be...chalk it up to the natural arrogance of humans. humility is a virtue, though in America it is practically seen as weakness...the notion of freedom has now been twisted to justify the most insidious kind of oppression: the subjugation of free, informed thought...at least in the corporate media, which does have huge influence among the proletariat. the media is a major cog in the machine that manufactures consent.
THE FUNDAMENTAL CHANGE THAT NEEDS TO HAPPEN IN THE AMERICAN POLITICAL SYSTEM IS CAMPAIGN FINANCE REFORM. WE NEED SOLELY PUBLIC FUNDING BEFORE THE AMERICAN PEOPLE CAN HOPE TO TAKE BACK THEIR GOVERNMENT FROM THE CORPORATE HIJACKERS!!!!!

i've been through a lot in my life, but most of it is either completely uninteresting or rather irritating to recall. i'll spare you any further details...you're welcome.
i do not believe that consciousness can be reduced to chemical reactions, however i also do not believe that our universe was created by some consciousness, a.k.a. god, or at the very least i have serious doubts about the sentience of such being if indeed it exist. justice does not appear to be a natural law...at least not in this dimension; our dimension is a paradox - it tends to order, yet entropy (think about the implications of "dark energy" in physics) seems to be the prevailing principle. rather, justice seems to be a noble construct in the minds of the civilized; it can only be upheld by the vigilance of the just, at least insofar as the here and now. what is beyond this world is a fairly moot point; a matter of belief or maybe a simple matter of fact.
here's a little something to help keep it all in perspective:
Powers of 10
in the odd possibility that you need a submarine, check this:
~seamagine~
actually, they really need to scare up some contracts, so why don't some of you millionaire child prodigies throw down? they are undoubtedly the best 2-3 person subs you will find on the market. i saw some show about a one person sub that you sit in like a kayak and there's a half-dome around your head, but i didn't catch the name of the company. btw, two buck Chuck (one of the company founders) told me the government awarded some submarine building contract to one of the big military aerospace companies (forgot which one now) and they milked that shit for ~ $850 MILLION! and hey, guess what J.Q.Public the damned thing doesn't work! haha! sorry! so our wise Uncle decided to see how the private sector does it and got a bit of an underwater eye opening. this is exactly why the government should not really be running anything. i mean, where is the goddamned oversight of the overseers? that shit pisses me off...
This YouTube thing is long (51 minutes) but you should watch the whole damn thing sometime if you've never heard of HAARP. I'd gotten wind of it a few years ago, but didn't know it was still an ongoing project. If that particular house gets burnt down, we won't be able to rebuild it you know. maybe we should quit playing with the matches and start fixing the hole in the roof...

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Most of the people i'd like to have met are now deceased... there are a few artists, writers and perhaps Fidel Castro still among the living. No, i'm not a communist. I'm not particularly interested in meeting Paris Hilton or Oprah Winfrey...ok, maybe i'd rather smoke cigars with Oprah than talk politics with Castro. Fuck Paris. (mais pardonnez ma français)

I BELIEVE IT IS MULTI-NATIONAL CORPORATIONS THAT RUN THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT TODAY. FURTHER, I BELIEVE THINGS LIKE NAFTA AND THE WTO ARE DEVISED NOT TO SERVE THE PEOPLE, BUT TO SERVE THE PROFIT MARGINS OF THESE CORPORATIONS. THE BOTTOM LINE IS THAT WE NEED BETTER INTERNATIONAL LAWS IF "FREE TRADE" IS TO MEAN ANYTHING REAL.
THIS IS NO JOKE.
neither is it a rehearsal...omg, itz fokkin myspace :p

my friend Ian shot this video, back when he was in the Navy:

and here is a lovely little sample from the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band:

DON'T FORGET TO BUY LOCALLY GROWN, ORGANIC PRODUCE WHEREVER POSSIBLE. GROW IT YOURSELF, EVEN BETTER. THAT IS THE MOST DIRECT THING YOU CAN DO TO SUPPORT THE PLANET - BUY LOCALLY GROWN FOOD. THERE IS TREMENDOUS ENERGY WASTED IN THE TRANSPORTATION OF GOODS THAT COULD EASILY BE PRODUCED LOCALLY.

and please, remember to recycle...most especially plastics and aluminum - the aluminum and glass industries are those that consume the most energy, in that order.
