Together, this outfit have created a truly unique sound, a sexy, dirty vocal-fused pop with plenty of guitars, driving beats, strong vocals and sweet spots galore.Tania Doko was brought to Australia’s attention as one half of the Australian group, Bachelor Girl during the nineties. Karl Lewis assumed the role of drummer during Savage Garden’s world tours. Determined to expose their love for electronic music, SSY was born when Doko brought the boys together to embark on what has quickly become an exploding vanity project with overseas assistance from leading industry figures such as British producer David Norland (Madonna, Janet Jackson) and Michael Patterson (Duran Duran, Beck). She Said Yes were thrilled to share the stage with their long time friend Darren Hayes on “The Time Machine Tourâ€, late 2007, coinciding with the independent release of the She Said Yes tour edition EP.SSY have since fast developed phenonmenal momentum in the live Melbourne club scene with their infectious dj/live sets. National TV performances and special events have included Channel 7’s Sunrise, Channel 10’s The Big Night In, the OutGames opening at Melbourne Town Hall, the infamous RAWHIDE at Chasers, Melbourne & supporting the Potbelleez in Dec 08.Say YES this Summer 09 with SSY.
