About Me

Born to a Swedish mother and a Persian father, Sara grew up both in Europe and the United States. She received a BA in International Relations from Tufts University in Boston, and moved to Los Angeles in 2000 where she currently works with promotion and PR.Sara has had formal voice training since her early teens, and in 1994, while studying abroad in Paris, France, she caught the attention of two French producers who were looking for a vocalist to record a dance single. The single, “You’re No Good,” was released by MCA records in 1995. But since she was in the middle of her university education, Sara decided to return to Boston to finish her degree. In the fall of 2002, she recorded a series of musical interludes for the NBC reality show "The Restaurant".In March 2004, she recorded the theme song for Beyond Blond: Swedish Lifestyle Month for the Swedish Consulate General in Los Angeles and was the main performer at the after-party for the premiere of Illusive Tracks at Raleigh Film & Television Studios.Music is an inevitable part of Sara’s life, and she feels she has reached a point in her career where she is vocally at her best. She is currently working on her own material as well as collaborating with Swedish producer and brother... DJ Whopper of the Beatpimps.
